ABOUT 

I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Body-Centered Therapy from Appalachian State University.  I also completed a postgraduate certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. I have over a decade of clinical experience working with adolescents, and adults of all ages in Western North Carolina. 

I’ve made Asheville NC my home with my partner and two hound dogs. My pronouns are she/they. I enjoy donuts, mixed media art projects, and growing spicy chili peppers.  I am anti-racist, queer aligned, body aware, and support all consenting adult relationship styles.

Gardening has been a quiet source of healing for me. Gardening grounds us—literally. In the simple act of tending to plants, we reconnect with the present moment, our bodies, and the rhythms of nature. There's a quiet kind of healing in soil under your nails, in watching something grow slowly and steadily. And sometimes it turns out like this:

 

And sometimes… it turns out like this. Plants thrive, and plants struggle. That, too, has been part of the lesson: how to show up with care, even when outcomes are uncertain. In tending to plants, I’ve learned to extend that same patience and gentleness to myself.
